Watch Onimusha (2009) Free Movie Online Streaming: The Onimusha film has been put on indefinite hold due to the death of Heath Ledger, which impacted on the schedule of producer Samuel Hadida, who was due to work with Ledger on the movie. Ledger was cast to play Roberto, the Spaniard from Dawn of Dreams. Because of his death, Hadida has yet to find a new actor and has put the movie on hiatus. Because of this, Hadida had to delay the filming of Onimusha, which has resulted in the film’s Japanese cast working on other film projects during the delay, and being unavailable to start filming Onimusha. These factors were enough that French director Christophe Gans will now direct an adaptation of Leo Perutz’s novel “The Swedish Cavalier” first, taking over the reigns from Gilles Mimouni.
